I Just Got The Best News!

My taxes are done. We’ll be getting a refund this year! We’re getting back just under $7,500.

Last year we ended up owing the State $15,500 dollars. I scrapped up some money and paid it down to under $10,000 so I could qualify for installment payments. I’ve been paying $200 on the first every month to the state and was expecting to be making these payments for the next three years. It feels like another car payment. I can’t stand it.

After last year I figured we’d end up owing the state again. I can’t put in writing how relieved I feel. I’ll use my refund to pay off the State and I’ll still have $600 left over to apply to something else.

I feel like everything in my life is coming together. I’m going to pay off what I owe in state taxes, I’m making slow but steady progress paying off my credit card debt and my house is getting in order.

This month I’ll be freeing up an additional $320 (Tax payment and storage unit rental). Gosh this feels GREAT!!! Life is good, very good!
