This is such a cool idea. I have a bunch of old hard bound books and sooo many valuables laying around… not! I think I’m going to try and make myself one.  Best of all I have everything it takes to make this so it’ll be a FREE project.

In addition to a hard bound book you’ll need:

  • Elmer’s white glue
  • Tap water
  • Container to hold glue solution
  • Plastic food wrap
  • X-acto knife, or box cutter.
  • Brush to apply glue solution
  • Rags to wipe up any spills
  • Pencil or Pen
  • Ruler
  • Flat work surface
