Cleaning… I got a bunch of cleaning done today. I cleaned out a closet and found five black widows in it. That’s not cool at all. I killed them and sprayed ant spray (it was either that or mosquito spray) around the baseboards. This weekend I plan on setting off a bug bomb, hopefully I can wipe them all out.
I also tidied up my bedroom, did a bunch of laundry, and finished cleaning out the feed room in the barn. My house is really starting to come together. 
Fighting… I was so pissed off at my husband this morning. I’m not going to go into the boring details but he’s still on a business trip, he’s been gone since Monday, and I feel ignored and neglected because I have been ignored and neglected. I’m not one of those women that want him calling in all the time or texting me constantly, I’m far from it but when work is over, come on, I think I deserve a little time, like maybe ten freaking minutes or some texting back and forth at the very least.
Apparently, I’m still immature, this morning I decided to give him a taste of his own medicine. I ignored his calls and his text messages. Did he like it??? Nope, not at all. After an hour he text me saying he was freaking out and was going to call someone to come and check on me if he didn’t get a response. So I responded.
Making Up… I think (hope) he finally “gets it” but I’m not so sure. He was really freaked out and told me he’s so sorry he did what he did last night. He had some excuses, blah, blah, blah, but I told him I didn’t want to hear the excuses, I just wanted him to realize how it hurts to be ignored. He apologized and now we’re ready to kiss and make up. We only have 1,690 miles between us. 
Friday can’t come fast enough.

Awww..You are not immature at all..We all need attention from our partners, doesnt matter if we’re 30,40 even 70 yrs old. :)Seems like he got the msg!

Hey Chicky,
I love my mini donkeys, they are so friendly and they’ll “bray” (that’s what they call donkey noises) when they see or hear me, wanting my attention. They are very gentle and great with my kids. When I go in the barn or yard with them, they walk up to me and want me to give them attention and they won’t leave my side. They are easy to take care of but they are escape artists and need secure fencing. I’ve had my smallest donkey escape twice this year already but luckily she likes to stay close to her sister and the feed room. I caught her by myself in about five minutes. Donkeys have hooves and they need trimming every six weeks.
We also have a Nigerian Dwarf Goat, she’s a sweetie. We take her on walks. I have one Bantie chicken, it’s a tiny little half size chicken and she’s sweet too. I’m getting two little 2 day old bantie chicks from the elementary school on Friday.
I’d LOVE to have some miniature horses, it’s a dream of mine, maybe I’ll get some after I get this debt under control.

OH man, yeah i’d totally be livid if my girl did that to me. We’re pretty hardcore text messagers when we’re away for long periods, so it would even make it worse!
I’m SO glad he seems to be back on track now though….and although it’s tough being so far away from him, think about how NICER it’ll be now when he’s back!!!

I think that is a “universal” fight…I’ve had a couple of those with my husband….I think they just need “reminding”.
