Paying bills online

by messy

I can’t believe how much I LOVE paying bills online.  I just set up all my credit card payments for the month and it only took me about 15 minutes.  Now I’m done worrying about due dates, late payments, and lost payments.  I can’t recommend paying credit cards online enough.  I’m a happy woman!

Today I went and recycled my cans and bottles.  I ended up getting $50.71!  Woo hoo!

Online bill payment is great. I have done electronic drafting for years now when paying the monthly expenses. We don’t have checks because we never need to actually write one. Even if a company doesn’t have the ability to process an electronic draft, I can have them run it as credit on my debit card, it works the same way. What is nice about the online bill payment systems is you can set them up on autopilot and never have to worry about stuff. Since you just got it setup, make sure to check your account and check the accounts you’re paying that they received the payment.

I love bill pay to, although I have very few items on automatic draft, such as the satellite and telephone bills. I just am not that comfortable yet for bills to be drafted. Mainly it’s because I never know about our money situation and there is just too much going in and out that I think it would be confusing. Maybe someday when all the credit cards are gone and other debt, I can set auto drafts up and not have to worry about it. In the meantime, I still need to have some control.

Agreed 100%. Paying bills online is KEY! Of course, that’s right after automatic withdrawals (my personal fav.) But you’re right, once it’s set up, it’s smooth sailing baby!
