I got my hair cut!

I haven’t had my hair cut in two years. I’m not really sure why either, I don’t know if I was being cheap or if I was just lazy. I do know I was really scared of getting a bad haircut. I finally got it cut though and I feel so much better. After I got my hair cut I came home and dyed it. I shot that skunk right out of there (I had a natural gray skunk stripe thing going on). My hair was down to my waist now it’s about shoulder length. I love it. In about 6 weeks I plan on getting it cut again, this time I’m going to go funky and get an “A” cut - the hair is shorter in the back and longer in the front. I’m also planning on dying it a funky dark red. My husband and kids know my plans and they are all really excited about what I’m going to do.

Before I went and got my hair cut I was playing around online with different hair styles on my face at ivillage.  Go try on some hairdo’s, it’s a good laugh for sure.

I didn’t get anything done this weekend from my goals list. On Saturday we ended up going to Ross, I spent $50 on a graduation dress, graduation shoes (for my 6th grader) and 2 tee shirts for my son. Then we went on a big search for white wedge shoes for my daughter that’s graduating high school. Of course we didn’t have any luck, I ended up buying some white wedge shoes, the only ones I could find and I knew she’d hate for $36. When she came home from work she hated the shoes just like I knew she would so we’re going to go back over the mountain and exchange the shoes on Tuesday for some flats that’ll match her dress better.On Sunday we went boating. It was a gorgeous, perfect boating day. My kids are completely crazy. The water was 69 degrees and they thought it was great. They had a blast.
