But there was the whole incident of me starting to talk to my husband, through myspace, then him calling and all of a sudden I was telling her I'd be leaving for a month to go and meet him. About a week after I turned eighteen. :) Of course, being a Mom, she knew a few days after I started talking to him that I was going to marry him... I figured it out a week or so later. Now, roughly two years later, I'm out of the house and on my own. :) I do have that husband of mine, but he's currently out of the country, so... Anyhow, I'm a really weird one, so I never gave my parents any trouble... And my Mom was always supportive, especially when I pulled out of college for a year to get my relationship on track. Of course, a lot of people figured I'd never go back, but I did. Your daughter's really got it for herself if she has to learn the hard way that home is great as long as you're welcome. :) It sucks having to pay all the bills and do all the shopping and cleaning and upkeep yourself... “I wonder if all mom’s of 17-18 year old girls go through this?”

Well, a couple of hours later, I get a call...."Hey Mom (mind you she was mad when she left...because she is 18, blah blah)....Hey MOM! Whatcha' doing?......Nothing. Oh hey, do you happen to know what time you are coming by?.....um, well, NO...I don't.....why?.....well, I wanted to tell friend's mom when you were coming. Well, NO, honey, the whole idea was that it would be a SURPRISE!..." sheesh......too funny. I did get a call from "mom" telling me that they were going w/ HER to another town.....I'm still suspicious of that call...but oh well, she is EIGHTEEN....rofl. Have a great 4th!!!
