I exceeded my walking goal!

Diet & Exercise

I exceeded my walking goal this week.  Here’s the week’s run-down:  Tuesday 1.5 miles, Wednesday, 1.5 miles, Thursday 1.5 miles, and today, Friday 2.0 miles!  At the beginning of the week I planned on pushing myself to go farther today and when it came time to push on it wasn’t really even a push, I felt like going on.  Next week I plan on mixing it up a little more and walking up to the top of a big fat steep hill about 1/2 a mile away from my house at least twice.  I’m really wanting to develop my thigh muscles.

Online Money

I wanted to let you all know that Chicky Finance has started a new blog.  She’s trying to earn $3,000 passive and active income online and plans on saving this money towards a down payment for a house.  This should be a great blog and I look forward to watching her progress.  Her new blog is called, Chicky Makes Cents.

I plan on stepping up my own efforts at making money online.  Since joining Ebay’s partner network in August, I’ve earned $48.55 and about $40 or so with Clickbank.  I’m not going to count the money I’ve made online taking surveys because I’m too lazy (busy) to look up all the accounts.  I plan on working on the 15+ sites I have up.  I need to build backlinks to get the traffic flowing.  Now that the kids are back in school I should have more time to devote to my sites.  I’d like to at least double my online income in the next 2-4 months.   I’ll update here, I don’t think I’d have time for another blog.  :-D

Resume Updated

My husband has put the word out that he’s looking for a new job.  So far he’s up to four offers and is supposed to be getting another offer in a few days.  He had me update his resume and I must admit his resume is extremely impressive.  He’ll most likely be working as a consultant so we’ll either have to go on his current employers COBRA or I’ll have to go health insurance shopping with scares the heck out of me.  I’ve done some investigating and health insuarance is just too expensive but with our four kids and his daughter, not having health insurance isn’t an option.  If he does go to work as a consultant then I’ll be in charge of paying estimated taxes to the state and the feds and that really scares the crap out of me.  After the mess we had two years ago owing the state of California, I don’t ever want to be in that position again.
