Does this debt make my butt look fat?

Having debt as large as I do definitely makes my butt look fat.    There’s no easy way to hide this much debt.  I think about my debt every day, I do all the would of – should of – could ofs.  What’s done is done so I’m FINALLY dealing with the debt.  Being in debt this deep just plain SUCKS!  Okay, my whine is over.

Woo hoo I’m down 10.6 pounds!

I did it, I dropped over 10 pounds!  I feel wonderful and am excited about losing more weight.  I’ve been following an old version of Weight Watchers because I don’t like meetings and am too broke to join their online program.  I figure if the old program worked for me in the past, doing it at home, then it should work for me now so I’m sticking with the plan and counting up my points.  So far this week I’ve gone for a walk everyday.  I’m up to 9.5 miles so far and still have two more days to go.  I don’t really care for exercise, as a matter of fact I don’t like exercise one bit but I’m starting to realize that it doesn’t really matter if I enjoy exercising or not, exercise isn’t optional.

I’ve been wanting to buy a cheap MP3 player to help pass the time while I’m walking but I keep telling myself that I don’t need to waste the money.  I’m not sure how long I can put off the purchase.  I keep telling myself the MP3 player is a WANT not a NEED but then in the back of my mind I tell myself that I NEED to lose weight and the MP3 player could help me accomplish this, but then again so could a personal trainer and  cook and there’s no way I could afford either.  Everyday is a struggle not to spend money.

My ultimate weight loss goal is to drop 2-3 jeans sizes by next summer!  I’ll be turning 40 next summer.  Ouch, I don’t like seeing 40 in print.  Oh gosh I’m getting old but I don’t look it or feel it.  My soon to be 18 year old daughter makes me feel old though, I can’t believe she’s graduated school and is in college!

Don’t get pregnant in December, January, or February!

I overheard my 17 year old daughter (who’s graduated high school) telling my three youngest this the other day.  I asked her why she was telling her younger siblings this BS and she replied, “Because I’m not 18 yet and all my friends are, I can’t get a job at the casino or a waitressing job serving beer, I also can’t be a checker at the grocery store because I can’t sell beer.”  LOL  I told her that come November when she turns 18 this really won’t matter and she’ll see how silly she looked even bringing this up. I wish my biggest problem was not being 18 yet.

I’m sure everyone is sick of hearing about this but…. I made more money online!

I made $8.93 with ebay’s partner network.  This brings my earnings since August 23rd up to $62.38!  From here on out I’ll report my ebay earnings monthly, or at least I’ll try to, if I get a big sale I might get too excited and then there’s no telling what I’ll do.  I should also add that the money I’ve made so far is off of two NEW sites so I’m really excited.  They both rank in the top five for keywords with Google and I’ve got my fingers crossed they don’t get sandboxed.

Job Prospects

Tonight my husband and I are going to have a big talk about him quitting his job.  Today he’s going to write up all the job offer details so WE can decide which job he’ll take.  He’s been ready to move on since before summer and I guess there’s no more stalling him out, although I’ll give it my best shot.  I sure hope he can stick it out another two weeks and quit at the end of the pay period.  Wow, that doesn’t sound very nice but hey, we have bills to pay.

Yesterday morning after my walk I went into the hen house to get some fresh eggs.  I found one of my old black hens laying on top of her dead hen friend in the laying box.  Her friend had died while trying to lay an egg, she was stiff and when I picked her up the egg was half out of her body but oddly it was clean, normally when a hen is egg bound their butts get all poopy.  In all my many years of having chickens I’ve never seen anything like this.  I don’t know if the black hen thought she was going to hatch the egg half way out of the dead hen’s butt or what.  I was so grossed and and disgusted I ended up sacking up the dead hen and all the eggs in the hen house and going to the store to buy eggs.  I’m still grossed out and its been 24 hours!
