I love watching the Dave Ramsey show. He has some really inspirational people on there, yet sometimes he has some true dimwits as well. Forget paying off $95k in one year, I wish I could pay off $20k in a year…

Newlywed Finances – I hear you!

I find the videos inspirational and sort of irritating to watch. I so badly wish it was me on the phone making the “I’m debt free” shout out. I think I’ll be lucky if I end up paying off $8,000 of my credit card debt in one year. In Feb 09, I’ll be at this debt reduction a whole year. So far I’ve paid off a truck, the State of California (back taxes) and hopefully $8,000 on my credit cards. I’m so sick and tired of scrimping on everything so I can pay off my debt. :???:

I know exactly what you mean. Do you feel at times that no matter how much you do or how much harder you work at it, you still feel like you’re not doing enough and should be doing more?

Newlywed Finances – Yep that’s exactly how I feel. :???:

It seems like something is always coming up too that sets us back. This month it’s flat tires on my husbands truck that can’t be repaired. I swear it’s always something.

Great video. Dave Ramsey is one of the only few people who makes sense in the world of personal finance advisors :)
