This morning I logged onto all my stinking credit card accounts online to make sure all recently scheduled payments had been posted to my accounts. Why? Because I’m paranoid I’ll somehow miss a payment and lose my good interest rates. I don’t ever want to go back to 30% + interest rates.
As I went through all four accounts, yes there are four but I only report 3 here on My Crazy Debt blog because I pay off the 4th credit card every month, I noticed all payments had been posted. I started adding up my balances and to my joy I realized my balanced was $38,085. That’s less than $90 from being under $38,000! Woo hoo! So I logged back into one of my credit card accounts and made a $90 payment. I now have less than $38,000 of credit card debt.
I’m sure anyone that’s gotten this far reading and doesn’t know my financial situation, is completely horrified by my credit card debt, hell I’m horrified myself. Check out the bar to the upper left <<<——– I’ve paid off over $5,600 of credit debt in the last 12 months!
This is just the kick I needed to fire me up again. I will stay strong!
I’d like to send a HUGE “Thank you” to all my commenters for keeping me strong, the support and advise I have received is greatly appreciated.

I’m not horrified – well, any more than I am horrified at myself. Did you check out my blog? I favorite’d you. Anyway, I’m at $42.5K. I’ve got some of those 30+% rates. I just went to the dentist (see my teeth?
) and I’m expecting a big, fat reimbursement check and I can already taste the thrill of paying off that 32% (part of it being 35% for a cash advance – there’s horror for ya) stinking, rotten excuse for a credit card.
Congratulations on your progress!
