My diet of choice is Weight Watchers Points. My goal is to lose 20-30 pounds. I want to have my good jeans fit me loose or even possibly go down a size. That would be perfect!
I’m going to start keeping a food journal and walking one or two miles 3-4 times a week.
About five years ago I did this same plan and lost 65 pounds and managed to keep if off up until this last year and now it seems as though I’ve gained back 15-20 pounds but I still am wearing the same size jeans and shirts they just are a little more snug now.
I’ll log my exercise journal and my weight loss weekly just to keep me accountable.
I told my husband about my diet plan and he’s less than thrilled. I’m predicting he’ll probably try and sabotage my efforts. Not because he doesn’t want me to lose weight, he doesn’t care if I gain or lose weight, but because he doesn’t want to feel pressured into losing weight himself. When I went on my diet about five years ago, he also went on a diet about a month later and we’d have competitions to see who could lose the most weight and of course with his MALE metabolism, he ended up winning every week, which was fine with me.
Tomorrow I plan on getting on the scale and finding out exactly how much weight I’ve gained back. I have a feeling the truth is going to put me in a bad mood.
